Cachapas are a Venezuelan corn pancake on the savory side which is grilled with butter and served with a melted thick piece of Paisa Cheese (semisoft cheese, pasteurized, with medium level of salt) and LOVE.

Patacon (Original)

Basically, the Patacon is a sandwich made with two slices of fried plantain instead of bread. The stuffing consists of shredded chicken, shredded beef, coleslaw salad, cheese, avocado, tomato and 3 types of sauces and LOVE.

Patacon (Vegetarian)

Lettuce, tomatoes and black beans instead of meat.  


What is an Arepa?

Arepas are a relatively new dish in our town, so it’s important to explain what is it?

In the basic form, is it the daily bread in Venezuela mae of white cornmeal, water and salt, the dough is formed into a patty, grilled, baked, split open and stuffed with a variety of ingredients like a sandwich.
